The ‘Animals of Oz’ online wildlife series is not only a thrilling close up look at some of Australia’s coolest animals, it’s also an educational experience. All presenters are tertiary qualified in either science, wildlife management or education and they put on a fun and exciting show for kids. In each session there will also be an opportunity for the kids to ask questions so learning and curiosity is encouraged!
The three sessions you will have access to run on different scheduled days that you will be booked into. The sessions include:
Meet the crocodiles, snakes and lizards that Australia is famous for! These cold blooded animals are some of the most interesting and intimidating creatures in the country, and this is a unique opportunity to check them out up close. Between meeting pythons and crocs, the kids will definitely be captivated.

Enjoy a face to face with Australia’s iconic furry friends in this session with native mammals. The kids will meet Dozer the wombat, Gum-nuts the ringtail possum, Barney the brush-tailed bettong, Alfie the sugar glider and more, learning about their adaptations and life in the wild.

Every creature has its place in the Aussie ecosystem, even the little creatures and crawlers that are often overlooked. In this session the kids will meet smaller animals and critters like Trevor the tawny frogmouth, Freddy the frog, Hannah the Huntsman and heaps more. They’ll even get to see the tawny frogmouth fed live in front of the camera!
