The Coorong National Park is iconic for its spectacular natural beauty and is of great Aboriginal significance. This boat cruise will transport you to a hidden sanctuary of tranquillity, gliding into pristine saltwater lagoons to explore the hidden beaches the area is known for. This is the place where the popular Australian movie ‘The Storm Boy’ was filmed and is a haven for birdwatchers, so be prepared to see a variety of native birds and pelicans. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and sand dunes to stroll making this a memorable day out on the water.
Getting there: This cruise departs from Goolwa Wharf, Cadell Street, Goolwa, SA 5212 – a 1-hour drive south of Adelaide.
Available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Not open during the winter months. Your booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider.
The tour should last approximately 6 hours.
In the event of extreme weather and winds, or if there are insufficient number of passengers, the cruise will be cancelled with full refunds or rescheduled.
Changes or cancellations after bookings are confirmed must be arranged directly with the experience provider in line with their policy.
The provider’s refund policy is as follows:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the cruise – 50% refund
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the cruise – 20% refund
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the cruise, no-shows and arriving late will forfeit their cruise and no refunds or rescheduling will be provided
