Flying in a Tiger Moth planes is a completely unique thrill that will transport you back to the golden age of aviation. The two seater aircraft has an open cockpit that allows you to feel the wind rushing past and admire unobstructed panoramic views from the sky. It’s something you need to tick off your bucket list, and Australia’s Hunter Valley region is the perfect place to do it.
First you’ll get geared up in all the authentic vintage flying gear, including a leather jacket, helmet, goggles and, of course, a flying scarf. There will be opportunities for pictures with the aircraft - a VH-BBC built in 1945 and immaculately restored - then it’s time to board the Tiger Moth plane with an experienced pilot, ready for your 60 minute scenic flight.
