Ever wanted to experience the thrill of camping on a secluded, paradise island? This is your chance! You and your fellow travellers will be taken to an isolated island in tropical far north Queensland and dropped off for a three-night stay, with a camp supervisor on hand to teach you survival skills.
It’s a great way to get away from it all, but there’s no need to worry about getting bored. You’ll have the chance to try fishing or crabbing, find oysters, kayak, explore caves, sand board down the 35m dunes in to the water, speed across the water in a motor boat and help to prepare dinner. But there’ll be plenty of chance to relax too, you can do as much or as little as you want.
End the day eating a delicious camp fire stew and watching the sun set from the west side of the island.
Important: You need to bring food for breakfast and lunch for four days. Cooked evening dinners will be provided for you, at an extra mandatory cost of $10 at departure.
