    • Get your hands dirty and be a zoo keeper for the whole day
    • Explore the largest safari experience that exists outside of Africa
    • See more than 50 species of exotic and native animals, birds and reptiles

For the ultimate zoo experience, go on safari just outside of Adelaide and be a zoo keeper for the day with this special wildlife experience! Spend the day exploring Monarto Safari Park - an open range sanctuary sprawling over 1,500 hectares and home to more than 50 different exotic and native species.

This is your ticket to go behind the scenes and get up close with the animals. An experienced keeper will be your host for the day and take you to exclusive areas of the park that aren’t available to the public. You’ll learn the ropes of a keeper’s daily tasks and the daily operations of the park, help feed the animals, conduct health checks, and get the enclosures ready. It’s a thrilling up-close experience perfect for animal lovers!

Just one hour outside of South Australia’s capital city Adelaide, Monarto Safari Park sits at cusp of the beautiful Murraylands region. It is the largest safari experience that exists outside of Africa and is home to one of Australia’s largest lion prides and giraffe herds. You can actually fit every major zoo in Australia within the Monarto Safari Park, and still have land to spare.

With open-range general admission you can explore the park on foot if you’re feeling energetic (there are 10km of walking tracks ranging from easy to medium difficulty), or you can hop on and off the Zu-loop bus to get around the open-range exhibits and viewing platforms. There are free guided walks and keeper talks throughout the day you can tag along to as well.

This is an epic wildlife adventure unlike anything else in Australia, and it’s something you need to experience for yourself.

Calling all animals lovers for a once in a lifetime opportunity! Step into the boots of a zookeeper and embark on an exciting new adventure, meeting some of the park's most exotic and native animals. An experienced keeper will act as your host for the day, taking you to exclusive parts of the parks not available to the public, showing you the ropes of their role and the daily operations of the park. You will assist in feeding the animals, undertaking health checks and preparing enclosures. If you're a sucker for animals and not afraid of getting your hands dirty, this thrilling experience is just for you!
