Explore the vertical world with confidence. Climbing offers a challenge which is mental as well as physical. What’s more, in the early stages of your climbing career physical strength is not an issue.
Rockclimbing appears to many to be the most insane and dangerous of outdoor activities – what will happen if they fall? However, modern equipment and procedures make it possible to explore the vertical world with confidence. Climbing offers a challenge which is mental as well as physical. What’s more, in the early stages of your climbing career physical strength is not an issue.
You will learn to get the most from the strength and balance you already have. Picture yourself 40m off the ground, unworried by fear of falling, able to look around and savour a serenity that only climbers are familiar with. In later courses you may want to try leading the party (going first on the rope) and choosing the route for your fellow climbers to follow. More than just thrill-seeking, climbing really challenges the commitment and dedication of the whole person. Are you ready to take up this challenge?
The Introductory Rock Climbing day is your chance to take in as much climbing as you can do in one day. It's perfect for beginners or those with limited outdoor climbing experience. You will learn the basics in rocksports and rocksport safety.
Tours run any day on demand for groups of 3 or more people. Private tours are available at extra cost – contact Adrenaline 1300 791 793 to arrange.
