    Abseil the cliffs of Kangaroo Point at sunset for Brisbane's best view. Do something a little different at sunset and rappel down the spectacular cliffs of Kangaroo Point. It's only a matter of confidence - let skilled and friendly instructors guide you on a gorgeous, adventurous evening out.

    You start the afternoon with a safety brief and then move up to the 20m cliffs. Once there, you’ll abseil down the cliffs as the Brisbane city skyline turns from day to night behind you. This abseiling session is suitable for beginners and those who have abseiled before. After a couple of abseils on these beginner cliffs, you'll become familiar with the correct abseiling stance and other descent techniques. It's the perfect activity to step outside your comfort zone.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • An average level of fitness is recommended
    • Minimum age is eight
    • Climbers aged 8-18 years require a parent/guardian present on the day to observe and sign an indemnity form on the climber’s behalf
    • SAFETY RESTRICTIONS - Due to the nature of this activity it is not suitable for participants with any of the following medical conditions to participate: Neck, back, heart disorders; High/low blood pressure; Recent surgery/illness/ injury; Not recommended during pregnancy; Other adverse medical conditions
    • Previous experience is not required and this adventure is suitable for beginners

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Wear comfortable clothing that suits the weather on the day
    • Lightweight, non-restrictive clothing is best
    • Wear enclosed footwear eg hiking or running shoes
    • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent
    • Water bottle (snacks if required)
    • Backpack to carry your personal belongings

    What is Supplied

    • Two hour abseiling adventure
    • Tuition by qualified abseiling instructors
    • All specialised abseiling gear and safety equipment including ropes, harnesses and helmets

    • Runs for two hours from 4:30pm-6:30pm (September to April)
    • Runs for two hours from 3:30pm-5:30pm (May to August)

    • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
