Experience the thrill of flying a helicopter yourself with a Training Introductory Flight. Helicopters are without a doubt, one of the most versatile and vital air transport vehicles in the world.
So you think you might want to start a career in aviation?
Well stop thinking about it and come and try it for yourself with this Trial Introductory Helicopter Flight at Archerfield Airport.
Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be introduced to your instructor and your aircraft. Your session will begin with a 30 minute briefing about what makes a helicopter fly, what the various controls do and what you must do whilst flying the helicopter. All the safety issues will be discussed here as well.
Then you’re off on a 40-minute training introductory flight. Your instructor will fire up the engine and get the rotor blades churning for lift-off.
Feel the thrill of your first time at the controls, then sit back and enjoy the ride as your instructor demonstrates some of the techniques you will learn later in your training.
Fly about the Moreton Bay and Gold Coast training area under your instructor’s guidance and taste the life of a heli pilot.
Training flights are available 7 days a week at Archerfield Airport, only a 20 min drive from the Brisbane CBD. If the weather turns particularly windy or rainy you will not be able to fly.
The staff were so helpful
absolutely worth doing, I'm hooked an id love to go on to obtain my helicopter pilots licence..
Numerous questions in this survey are irrelevant as i didn't purchase this, it was purchased for me, (you need to add a "not applicable" option to the purchase relevant questions) other then that the experience was EXCELENT
Don1t wish it go and di it, Is was worth the money 10 times over, they even do a you tube snip of your flight to proove to friends and family YOU really DID have the controlls! AWSOME LEN
Andrenalin made it easy for me to enjoy an amazing experience, thank you!
I really loved it. Easier than I thought it'd be. I did some research beforehand with some youtube videos and stuff on the howstuffworks.com website which gave me familiarity with helicopter controls. I'd recommend this experience to anyone. I got to do turns, use all the controls and do descents and ascents.
