Thrilling open-air cockpit flight
Authentic flying gear (jackets and goggles) provided
Incredible views of Bribie Island and the Glass House Mountains
Enjoy a flight experience like no other and hop into the open cockpit of a vintage tiger moth plane! Goggles, jacket, scarf and helmet are provided to make sure you look and feel the part during this magical flight, where you’ll enjoy views of South-East Queensland’s Bribie Island and Glass House Mountains.
Your day will begin with a pre-flight briefing, including information about the aeroplane and its history, from your highly experienced tiger moth pilot at the airfield. This is followed by a safety briefing, covering important details like getting in and out of the aircraft, how to communicate using historical hand signals and what to do while flying. The pilot will also explain where you’ll be flying and let you know some things to look out for along the way.
It’s then time to pull on your flying jacket, helmet, scarf and goggles, grab some photos, and board the aircraft. Your flight will take you to an altitude of 2000ft, and you soar across the sky as low as 500ft.
Sit back and enjoy, this scenic flight doesn’t include death-defying acrobatics or stomach-churning dives, but you can ask for some gentle wingovers if you like!

You must be able to get in and out of the plan unassisted in order to fly, as a basic requirement of CASA
