Jump aboard this fun cruise along the scenic Tweed River. Your knowledgeable guide, known as 'Crab Man', will share interesting tales of the region's history and tell you about the local wildlife. He'll also take you to the heart of the mud crab headquarters, the Terranora Lakes mangrove system.
Head to secret crabbing and fishing spots, try traditional hunting methods used by the region's first inhabitants and taste oysters at a local farm. Have a go at pumping for yabbies (bait collecting) and setting traps for mud crabs.
If you're successful in your efforts you could be dining on your catch later! Either way, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch of local delights including mud and spanner crab, prawns, oysters and fish, as you dine on a sand bank (tides permitting).
