  • Description
    • Jump on an all-terrain quad bike and take on the lush Tasmanian bushland
    • Explore the beautiful scenery of Freycinet National Park
    • Reach isolated locations that are pristine and rarely visited

Tasmania’s famous Freycinet National Park is full of tucked away pockets of stunning natural beauty that you’ll only get to see if you’re adventurous enough to work for it. If you really want to explore the park, navigating around on a quad bike is the way to do it.

Either jump on an all-terrain quad bike as a driver and solo rider, or get a crew on one that fits three, and get ready to take on the rugged terrain. On this two hour, fully guided tour, you’ll indulge your adventurous side and seek out unparalleled views of the spectacular coastal environment.

Before you set off from Coles Bay, your instructor will run through the basics of riding a quad bike, handling all-terrain vehicles safely and best practice driving techniques. From there, you’ll take off on a wild journey along 4WD tracks through the coastal forest to one of two destinations. Your guide will either take you south to Friendly Beaches, where the idyllic white sand shores can only otherwise be accessed on foot, or you’ll travel through lush valleys to Bluestone Bay and on to see the epic coastal cliffs surrounding Cape Tourville Lighthouse. Wherever you go, the views are incredible and the ride there is thrilling.

Fantastic. Throughly enjoyed it. Our guide Sam was great. It was clear he took a "safety first" approach which was great-always looking back to check on everyone etc. great to hear some of the history along the way.

Michael was a very competent trainer and explained the quad bikes very well. He was extremely vigilant of where we all were at all times and responded quickly to issues that arose because of the terrain. He helped with straps that wouldn't do up, bikes that got stuck and above all that, he is a very nice person.

We had a fantastic day! Mark was excellent with his instructions/safety brief. My daughter and I wanted to go back straight away and do it all over again. We had never ridden a motorbike or quad bike before so we were very new to this experience - Mark made as feel at ease. Thanks for an awesome experience!
