Tweed River and Rainforest Cruise with Morning Tea and Lunch
What could be more relaxing than a cruise along the river? Take a break and treat yourself to this scenic journey along the Tweed River. Morning or afternoon tea is served onboard, to keep hunger at bay, and later you'll enjoy a delicious fresh seafood or BBQ steak lunch.
The knowledgeable skipper will add commentary during the journey, sharing interesting information about the diverse wildlife and the history of the area.
Your journey will take a 45 minute stop at the historic river village of Tumbulgum or Chinderah (which village you visit depends on the tide). This is a great chance to stroll through art galleries, enjoy the warterside views or stop off for refreshment at the historical hotel built in 1886.
You'll also visit Stott's Island, where you'll feed local birds of prey, including eagles! Jump back on the vessel to enjoy lunch.
Casual clothing and comfortable footwear is recommended.
A minimum 15 passengers are required to operate this tour.
