    This Great Barrier Reef cruise from Cairns takes you to the stunning Moore Reef by catamaran, and includes a 30-minute snorkelling tour with a marine biologist. Out on the reef you’ll have four hours to enjoy activities around this private floating pontoon, with all snorkelling equipment supplied. It’s an exciting location and a great way to explore this natural wonder of the world.

    Your full day adventure heads out of Cairns in the morning and arrives at the reef around midday. Pull on a snorkel dive in for your 30 minute guided snorkel tour, and you can keep exploring in your free time as well. Get up close with the range of stunning marine life on the reef, enjoy the underwater observatory and let the kids have fun on the waterslide. 

    You will be treated to a delicious lunch and, later, afternoon tea is served. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to learn all about the Great Barrier Reef from the expert guides, as well a glass-bottom boat tour, touch tank presentation and fish feeding.

    • This is not a private cruise, there will be other people on board with you
    • 8:45am – Boarding commences 
    • 9.45am – Safety briefing and introduction to the daily program
    • 10.00am – Introduction to the Eye on the Reef program and how to complete the Rapid Monitoring Survey. Exclusive presentation by one of our Marine Naturalists / Master Reef Guides
    • 11:30am – Arrival at Moore Reef Pontoon
    • Guided Snorkel Safari of the reef while completing the Rapid Monitoring Survey
    • 2:45pm – Touch tank presentation
    • 3:00pm – Fish feeding presentation
    • 3:30pm – Depart Moore Reef Pontoon
    • 4:00pm – Question and answer session and certificate of participation presented to students
