  • Description
    • All aboard a glass bottom boat – a 3.5-hour tour to see the reef from above
    • Explore the Great Sandy Marine Park at your own pace
    • See turtles, dolphins and maybe even a reef shark!

The Sunshine Coast’s Great Sandy Marine Park is a tropical paradise. Here, long stretches of white sand meets the crystal-clear waters that are home to turtles, dolphins and reef sharks

This is your chance to dive deep into the Park on a 3.5-hour eco tour. Hop aboard a specially-designed glass bottom boat, you’ll cruise through the calm waters and see all the reef has to offer – tropical fish and turtles included. Keep a close watch to spot the dolphins, dugongs and seabirds that call the park home. Or, get up close and personal with them as you snorkel over the coral.

Hear the legendary tales of the Butchulla people of K'Gari (Fraser Island) and surrounds. Discover the indigenous names and meanings of local landmarks.

If conditions permit, you’ll even visit Hervey Bay’s famous Pelican Banks, known for its turquoise-hued waters and pristine sands.

Later, you’ll have time to explore Round Island and tuck into a delicious lunch before you call it a day.

This experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because it’s ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.
