If you’re keen to get outdoors, get your blood pumping, and see the best of what Perth has to offer, this bike tour is exactly what you need. For three hours, your guided tour will take you on a track to all the must-see sights and hidden gems on the foreshore and East Perth.
Setting out from the South Perth foreshore you’ll be pedalling along some of the most pristine river cycle paths in the city. Some landmarks you’ll see on your journey include Heirisson Island, Crown Perth, the Perth Optus Stadium, Maragarup Bridge, the iconic Blue Boat House, Claisebrook Cove, The Bell Tower, Elizabeth Quay and more.
Your guide will share insight into the historical and cultural significance of different spots around Perth, and lead you to sights off the beaten track. You’ll make a cafe stop in Claisebrook Cove to break, snack, and enjoy the beautiful view, then continue on to explore the city side of foreshore. Check out the newly created Elizabeth Quay area and enjoy a return journey via Perth’s oldest surviving colonial building and the Narrows Bridge.
While you’ll definitely get the physical benefit of a long bike ride, the pace and terrain are leisurely and you’ll have plenty of time to stop and enjoy the scenery along the way.
