SUPER FUN FLIGHT - LOVED IT
That was sensational! I can’t believe I left it so long to use this voucher. It really felt like I was flying a real airliner, the pilot Isaac was so helpful and professional. Now the kids want to do it. Highly recommend this experience. I can’t wait to try the F-18 next.

What you can expect
Ever wished you could sit in the cockpit controlling the aircraft instead of down the back with the other passengers? Bring your pilot dreams to life with a 30, 60, 90 or 120 minute flight simulation experience in a state of the art flight simulator based on the Boeing 737-800 NG.
On arrival you'll be met by your First Officer on arrival who will take you through your pre-flight briefing how to use all the basic controls. You can customise your flight to where you want to fly as well as the weather conditions, and there are over 24,000 international airports to choose from. Then fasten your seat belts, and get ready for takeoff! You can bring up to three friends with you who can ride along in your flight simulation.
While in the air you will have to monitor your instruments and controls as well as go through the same check-lists as an actual flight. Your instructor will be there to guide you the whole way and help you master all the skills a pilot needs. Then comes the landing, which is the ultimate test of your skill and concentration.

F18 flop
In and out in 29minutes despite the machine being restarted 3 times during the process, once for freezing and twice because of user error and the guy accidentally switching it off in the dark, each time losing a few minutes to reboot, given this we had expected to have gotten a few more minutes Mum said she was glad she only paid for a kid and not an adults ticket as it would have been super underwhelming and expensive at full price, none the less i thought it was pretty cool for the small time i had

Underwhelming experience overall
Flight instructor was late by a few of minutes and then computer needed to be re-booted before being able to start, so coupled with the late start I lost nearly 15 minutes out of a 1 hour booking - there was no offer to extend time to make up the shortfall. Simulator is very tired - seats and many levers and switches are well worn (e.g. landing gear lever would not lock in and took a number of attempts by the instructor to do so). Simulation display graphics were disappointing considering high resolution graphics for most computer games today are much better than this simulator. Love the concept but was disappointed with the experience - so was my wife who paid for this as a birthday present for me!
