This was a fantastic experience, best birthday gift ever! My driver was George Elliott and he was great and I felt very safe with him, even though we were flying around the circuit. All safety aspects were adhered to and all the staff at Mallala were friendly and helpful. I would definitely do this again and I have a whole new appreciation for supercar drivers!

You'll get behind the wheel and put your own driving skills to the test for eight laps around the circuit, and strap into the passenger seat for two blistering laps with a real race car driver showing you the full high-speed potential of the car. Your V8 drive day kicks off with a safety briefing and pre-drive tuition session with experienced race drivers. They’ll go over techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting, efficient braking and acceleration, steering, gear changes and general car control, as well as safety and track awareness. You’ll have time to ask any questions and make sure you feel comfortable taking the wheel and taking on the track in a V8 race car. Then it's time to experience the extreme power of the V8 race car, and take on the circuit with your instructor guiding you from the passenger seat. Seasons

V8 days are not normally affected by weather, unless there is an absolute downpour in which case the day will be rescheduled. In the event of inclement weather, your ride will be rescheduled. Our weather check recorded message service is updated on an hourly basis. To prevent a wasted journey to the circuit, we recommend that you call 0412 018 035 before you leave and on a hourly basis throughout your journey to check for updates.If the day is postponed, simply call Fastrack on 1300 886 967 on the next working day to reschedule.

Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
You will need to allow up to 4 hours out at the track

This experience is non-refundable, no cancellations and no amendments..
No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences. However, bookings are transferrable – in the case of transfers, the original purchaser must provide notification of who the voucher will be given to before the booking or voucher expires. No refunds will be offered on expired bookings or vouchers.

Terms And Conditions

Participants must be at least 18 years and hold their P-plate license at a minimum
Participants need to be within the maximum height of 194cm and minimum height of 135cm, with maximum weight below 130kg
Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
Please note: There is an excess paid to the experience provider in the event of any damage caused to the car
Choose between Ford or Holden Cars. No manual-transmission driving experience necessary
Friends and family are welcome to come along and share your experience at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue.
If it’s raining before you leave home, please call the weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.
Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20-25 people.
Pregnant women and those under the influence of drugs or alcohol cannot participate in this experience.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have made a booking, cancellation charges may apply if you are unable to attend:
Failure to give notice or un-attendance: In the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un-attendance or non-participation
$30.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed within 8-14 days from your booked date.
$50.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed 7 days or less from your booked date.

V8 Track Drive Mallala SA

It was a great experience but seemed a bit rushed and during laps had to slow down and move over for other's receiving just the hot laps and being that it was at Mallala SA, it's a short track so I feel for the price, the car's should have been separated from one another more, so that you could get the full experience and push a bit harder but all in all it was a great experience and would recommend it more so for people that don't already have, or have owned and driven a tuned V8 as the power of the car's are similar or less than for example my mildly tuned VE SS.
