This was a fantastic experience, best birthday gift ever! My driver was George Elliott and he was great and I felt very safe with him, even though we were flying around the circuit. All safety aspects were adhered to and all the staff at Mallala were friendly and helpful. I would definitely do this again and I have a whole new appreciation for supercar drivers!

What you can expect

Test your limits and drive a real V8 race car for four laps Experience the most powerful V8 race cars available to drive in Australia Drive like a pro with a real race car driver/instructors in the car with you

Awaken your inner revhead as you drive a real V8 race car around Mallala Motorsport Park for four laps. You'll receive guidance from a professional race car driver/instructor who will show you how to conquer the track safely as you hit incredible speeds. Before letting it rip, you'll be run through a pre-drive tuition covering apexes, braking points and overtaking procedure to ensure you master the track safely. Whilst it's not a race, overtaking is common and seriously thrilling. You'll then head to the pit lane, where you'll gear up in your racing attire and blast off into the track. In the driver's seat, you'll push your boundaries and experience insane speeds as there's no speed limit out on the circuit. Your expert instructor will be sitting beside you and coaching you through the intercom to make sure you go as fast and as safely as you can on the four lap session. You'll realise how easy it is to drive a real V8 race car once you're done. Make sure to bring family and friends as the racing is seriously exciting from the sidelines. You choose between Ford or Holden Cars. No manual-transmission driving experience necessary.

Seasons

V8 days are not normally affected by weather, unless there is an absolute downpour in which case the day will be rescheduled. In the event of inclement weather, your ride will be rescheduled. Our weather check recorded message service is updated on an hourly basis. To check weather conditions, you can call 0412 018 035 after 7am on the day to listen to a recorded message. In the case of bad weather we may need to reschedule your booking. If this does occur, please call our office on 1300 886 967 during business hours. If the day is postponed, simply call Fastrack on 1300 886 967 on the next working day to reschedule.

Operating Hours

Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
You will need to allow up to four hours at the track

Allow up to three hours for your experience
For spectators, the extensive open air grand stands available at Mallala are the perfect place to watch drivers tackle the exciting turns Mallala has to offer, and an enclosed reception area will also be available on the day if they want to stay indoors
This experience is non-refundable, no cancellations and no amendments..
No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences. However, bookings are transferrable – in the case of transfers, the original purchaser must provide notification of who the voucher will be given to before the booking or voucher expires. No refunds will be offered on expired bookings or vouchers.

Terms And Conditions

All participants must be drug and alcohol free
Participants must be at least 18 years and hold your P-plate license at a minimum
Participants need to be within the maximum height of 194cm and minimum height of 135cm with maximum weight below 130kg
A V8 automatic Holden is available (except Western Australia) for drivers who don't hold a manual license
Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
Please note there is an excess paid to the experience provider in the event of any damage caused to the car
If it’s raining before you leave home, please call the weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.
Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20-25 people.

Cancellation Policy

Once this experience is booked, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made
$30.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed within 8-14 days from your booked date.
$50.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed 7 days or less from your booked date.
Failure to give notice or un-attendance: In the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un-attendance or non-participation.
