What a rush, money well spent
If you get the chance give this a go but take my advise a get some extra laps when you book in you won't regret it. The staff were great the driving instructors are very helpful in get you to go as fast as you can while having 'fun"., and if your not sure on your height and weight I'm 194/195cm and 120kg and had no trouble with fitting in the suit and getting in and out of the cars (ok the mustang was a very tight squeeze) but the FG Falcon had plenty of room. All in all it was a great way to have some fun. Cheers
A great experience at Mallala
This was a fantastic experience, best birthday gift ever! My driver was George Elliott and he was great and I felt very safe with him, even though we were flying around the circuit. All safety aspects were adhered to and all the staff at Mallala were friendly and helpful. I would definitely do this again and I have a whole new appreciation for supercar drivers!
What you can expect
Take on the track and feel the ultimate thrill of driving a V8 race car with this six lap driving experience at Mallala Raceway, Adelaide. With the guidance of your in-car professional driving coach you'll be hitting insane speeds as you rip around the circuit.Before you hit the gas you'll have a pre-drive tuition with your instructor that will cover apexes, braking points and overtaking procedure. Although you're not racing, you'll find overtaking on the track is still a common and exciting occurrence. Once you're familiar with the circuit and car, you'll head off to the pit lane and be fitted out with racing overalls and a helmet.
Then strap in behind the wheel, start your engine and you're off! Your personal instructor will coach you through the intercom from the passenger seat, making sure you go as fast as you can, as safely as you can on your six lap session. You'll soon realise how easy it is to drive a real V8 race car.Don't forget to bring family and friends along as the race is super exciting from the sidelines. You choose between Ford or Holden Cars. No manual-transmission driving experience necessary.

- The experience provider reserves the right to stop the car or refuse anyone found to be driving or acting in an unsafe manner

Seasons
- V8 days are not normally affected by weather, unless there is an absolute downpour in which case the day will be rescheduled. In the event of inclement weather, your ride will be rescheduled. Our weather check recorded message service is updated on an hourly basis. To check weather conditions, you can call 0412 018 035 after 7am on the day to listen to a recorded message. In the case of bad weather we may need to reschedule your booking. If this does occur, please call our office on 1300 886 967 during business hours. If the day is postponed, simply call Fastrack on 1300 886 967 on the next working day to reschedule.
Operating Hours
- Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
- You will need to allow up to four hours at the track

Additional Information
- Allow up to three hours for your experience
- For spectators, the extensive open air grand stands available at Mallala are the perfect place to watch drivers tackle the exciting turns Mallala has to offer, and an enclosed reception area will also be available on the day if they want to stay indoors
- This experience is non-refundable, no cancellations and no amendments.
- No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences. However, bookings are transferrable – in the case of transfers, the original purchaser must provide notification of who the voucher will be given to before the booking or voucher expires. No refunds will be offered on expired bookings or vouchers.
Terms And Conditions
- Minimum and maximum height limit of 135cm-194cm with a maximum weight of 130-135kg
- All participants must be drug and alcohol free
- Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
- Please note there is an excess paid to the experience provider in the event of any damage caused to the car.
- The experience may be shared with other paying clients who are riding in the backseat
- In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.
Cancellation Policy
- Once this experience is booked, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made
- Failure to give notice or un-attendance: In the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un-attendance or non-participation.
- $30.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed within 8-14 days from your booked date.
- $50.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed 7 days or less from your booked date.
