What you can expect
View Adelaide from the River Torrens and paddle past the Adelaide Riverbank highlights including Adelaide Oval. For 90 minutes you will be guided by our qualified instructors to enjoy this relaxing experience on the footsteps of the city. With a maximum of eight people per tour you get to enjoy scenic views of the cityscape and surrounding river bank environments while you find out a bit more about the history and significance of the River Torrens and surrounds. Additional Information
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a fare paying adult
- Minimum age – 8 years (with an adult attending)
- Children under 12 years must be in double kayak with an participant 13+ years old
- Tours are conducted in stable, very comfortable 2-person kayaks which are suitable for all levels of fitness and experience
- There are no toilets on site
Terms And Conditions
- Participant changes can be made up until 24 hours prior to the experience
- Minimum of two and a maximum of eight participants
- Minimum age is 8 years old, children 8 to 12 years must be accompanied in a kayak by someone aged 13+
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a fare paying adult
- Maximum weight 120kg - please contact our office for more information
- No experience necessary; the guides will help you with instruction, technical expertise and encouragement
- Due to the nature of this experience it may be subject to adverse weather conditions (i.e. high winds, etc.). Should the weather be deemed unsafe, the experience provider will contact you via email or SMS as soon as possible to reschedule your booking. If you do not receive a notification prior to your session, you may safely assume that your experience will be going ahead. Unfortunately, there may be some instances where bursts of extreme weather are not as forecast, which may result in the session being cancelled upon arrival
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Good for beginners
I had an amazing time trying Kayak for the first time.
A Fun Family Activity
Our host, Ben, ran us through all the necessary safety and instructional information without overloading us. Not all of our party of 4 had kayaked before and our goal was simply to have everyone come back to shore without capsizing - mission accomplished. We were able to use the tandem kayak whereas others in the tour were in singles so they cater for all. It was a very chilled activity that went just right amount of time. Ben left us to enjoy the very scenic river and then when appropriate provided us with information about the area at different points. A most enjoyable experience.
An excellent experience.
I loved this experience. Our guide Ryan was friendly and through. The kayak ride through Adelaide was an excellent way to see another side of the city. I loved every second of the experience and will most probably do a similar trip the next time I am in Adelaide. Could not recommend this highly enough.
