What you can expect
Immerse yourself in nature and discover a different side to the Barossa Valley at your own pace with two hours self-guided kayak hire on the Warren Reservoir. With no tidal currents to contend with, paddlers are in for a smooth ride with plenty of time to explore the outer edges of the shoreline where native birdlife such as pelicans, cormorants, herons and spoonbills can be found.
Kayak instructors will set you up on shore and provide a safety briefing before you hit the waters. Don’t worry if you’ve never kayaked before or if it’s been a while as you’ll get all the tips and tricks to help get you started. If you're lucky, you may even spot kangaroos hopping by or koalas resting up in the treetops.
