Thrilling Yak 52 aerobatic flight over Southern Moreton Bay
Read more
Crank up the adrenaline during an aerobatic flight in a Russian Yak-52, powered by a nine cylinder, 360hp, supercharged radial engine. Originally built to train Russian pilots for combat manoeuvres, the Yak 52 today allows you to feel like a fighter pilot as you loop and roll through the sky.
Upon arrival, you will undertake a full briefing including all aspects of flight, aircraft details and safety procedures. Then, get strapped into the aircraft and feel the roar of the engine come to life. Your pilot will head straight for Southern Moreton Bay where you'll get your blood pumping with manoeuvres like loops, barrel rolls, half cubans, wing-overs, stall turns and inverted flying. These mind blowing manoeuvres will result in G-forces ranging from +4 to -1 and reach speeds in excess of 400km/h.
You'll be in constant communication with your pilot via headsets to either turn up the action or tone it down at any point. Following a full de-brief there will be an opportunity to take more with the aircraft, discuss the flight with your pilot and ask any questions you might have. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a perfect gift idea for Top Gun fans and adrenaline junkies alike.
