Great experience and understanding
The instructors gave very clear demonstrations of what to do and how to control the car. The theoretical explanations of how the car works and reacts under different situations was very easy to understand. The course gives you a good feeling for your own car and how it will feel and react if you are ever in these situations as well as finding some limits to your cars steering and braking.
What you can expect
This full day Defensive Driving Queensland Level 1 course is perfect for mastering the skills you need on the road and taking your driving to the next level. You'll work with professional coaches on a mix of theoretical and practical exercises that will develop the crucial road safety skills that underpin proactive driving.
Young drivers are strongly encouraged to develop better on-road defensive driving skills and more solid techniques, but more experienced drivers also benefit enormously from advanced driver training, including the correction of old habits and improving judgement and reactions. This experience provides a combination of practical and interactive class sessions in actual on-road safety skills. They are specially designed to educate drivers of the risks associated with driving, and skills needed to avoid accidents. The courses encourage proactive driving aimed at improving community road safety.

What To Bring
- Your current driver’s licence
- Your vehicle with a full tank of fuel, optimal tyre pressures, water and oil levels
- Wear comfortable casual clothing
- Wear enclosed footwear with a thin sole - bulky shoes, high heels or climbing boots are not optimal driving shoes
- Hat, sunscreen and bug spray if it is hot, or an umbrella if it’s raining

- After successfully completing this program drivers can progress to Level 2 or the High Performance Course (enquire for more details). If you have any questions on the day please call the supplier
Terms And Conditions
- The Level 1 course is suited to drivers of regular passenger vehicles
- All participants must present their current driver's licence (Learner's plate or above) in order to participate
- Learner drivers must have a Licenced Driver with them during the practical components
- Any over-consumption of alcohol the night before a driving course will not allow you to participate in any scheduled driving activity (i.e. over .05 prescribed legal limits). A breath testing unit will be applied on the day if required
- Please advise the staff at your course of any medical condition, previous car accidents or bad experiences to assist your tuition on the day
- All drivers will be required to sign a safety indemnity prior to driving activities
- Only drivers who have a confirmed booking for the course will be permitted to enter the venue. Passengers, children, spectators, partners, onlookers or friends are not permitted into the venue for safety reasons, unless accompanying a learner
- For your safety race experiences may be delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. If cancelled, participants will be rescheduled to another suitable date. You should check with the supplier to confirm the status of the day before you set out

- 14 DAYS NOTICE: CHANGES ALLOWED - NO PENTALY
- 7-13 DAYS NOTICE: CHANGES ALLOWED – 50% FEE
- WITHIN 7 DAYS: ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES – 100% FEE
- We appreciate your understanding that within 7 days of any event, the business is unable to re-fill your position and has already incurred the full costs of hosting the event. As such we are unable to accommodate any changes.

Excellent experience
Instructors were top-notch, both theory and practical lessons were engaging and (particularly the practical stuff) fun. Worth the purchase, and it should make a better driver of everyone who attends.
