What you can expect
Jump aboard your very own electric picnic boat and set off on a two-hour self-drive adventure along the Brisbane River. Explore at your own pace and see Brisbane’s landmarks from a fresh perspective. Safety equipment is included, and you’ll receive a quick demonstration on steering the boat so you can feel confident and ready to take control. You’ll also receive a map of the operational area with guidance on the best route to take. Departing from the Newstead district, head east or west and soak in the city sights from the water. Quiet, modern, and eco-friendly, this boat lets you enjoy a comfortable journey without engine noise or fumes.
Float past iconic sites such as the Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm Park, the Woolstore buildings, and the WWII Submarine base. Each boat is equipped with a picnic table and plenty of space for up to eight passengers, so bring along your favourite snacks and drinks. Pet-friendly and fun for everyone, you can even bring your furry friend along for the adventure! With you in control, the excitement is guaranteed as you make your dream of being a boat captain a reality.

Time
- This experience is available daily leaving at various times between 9am and 4pm
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departures
- Boats depart exactly at the scheduled time and return after 2 hours

- This experience is two hours in duration.

Terms And Conditions
- The nominated skipper must be at least 18 years of age
- Maximum legal capacity per boat is eight participants including children
- Photo ID must be provided, preferably of the individual who made the booking
- The skipper must maintain a 0.00 BAC
- Guests may consume up to two alcoholic beverages per person
- A security bond of $200 is required and will be taken as a pre-authorisation from a valid debit card and will be cancelled once the boat is returned without damage
- If you choose to use a credit card, the pre-authorisation amount will be $1
- It is not permitted to dock the boat at another location, it must remain on the water for the duration of their booking
- Fishing is not permitted
- A $20 surcharge applies on Weekends and Public Holidays
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- Mobile vouchers are accepted

We loved our Go Boat experience and highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was our captain had no jokes to share, but I suppose that’s on me for choosing my company! ,:D
