What you can expect
Your friendly instructor will go through a complete ground briefing before you take to the air. During your 30-minute flight in the local area, you will take control under the close supervision of your experienced instructor. This will give you a 'feel' for the machine in its natural environment and you will find it surprisingly easy. You will only be asked to do things the instructor knows you can easily accomplish and absorb. During the flight you can relax in the knowledge that your instructor will handle the landing at the end of the flight.
The time spent flying counts towards your Pilot Certificate, Recreational Pilot Licence, Private Pilot Licence or even your Commercial Pilot Licence.

Inclusions
- Pre-flight and safety briefing
- 30 minutes flying time
- Fly the aircraft under the close supervision of our experienced instructor
- Includes free HD footage of you flying the aircraft to show your friends and family
Duration
- Allow around 1 and 1/2 hours for the whole experience, this includes a 15 minute pre-flight briefing and 30 minutes flying time
- During the summer months we will only flying early to mid morning simply for passenger comfort
Departure Location
- This experience departs Hangar 605 Victa Avenue, Archerfield Airport.
What To Bring
- Comfortable clothes including enclosed shoes
- Sunglasses & cap recommended
Terms And Conditions
- Maximum weight for Sling 2 experience is 90kg
- Maximum weight for Cessna 172 experience is 130kg
- Minimum height is 150 cm
- Maximum height is 195 cm
- Minimum age is 12 years
- Experience is available 7 days a week from 5AM-3PM
- You must sign up for FREE TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP to Recreational Aviation Australia at raaus.com.au/members/
- If you are ineligible for membership because you have either previously been a Temporary Member or you have flown more than 3 hours on your current Temporary Membership, then you will need to call us before booking this flight so that we can make alternative arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Great experience except for the video
Staff are very experienced, confident and friendly. There's a good selection of airplanes but you don't get to choose. Wish the video was placed in a better position to see the view and face of my son instead of his back and almost no view.
