What you can expect
Feel the adrenaline surge through your body as you put your hands on the wheel, foot on the pedal, and take off around a real race track on this incredible V8 driving experience. You'll feel like a real V8 driver at Queensland's premier V8 venue, with 5 blistering laps around the track in a Generation 3 Mustang or Camaro Race Car, which are new to Australia.
You’ll be run through a driver safety and track briefing to get you ready to drive. This will include topics like braking, cornering, apexes, and overtaking, and you'll be introduced to the vehicles and your driving instructors. Many instructors are current or ex-V8 drivers and they’ll be in the car with you and communicating by radio intercom to help you make the most out of your driving experience.
Fully prepared, you'll accelerate out of the pits and onto the straight. With no speed limit at Queensland Raceway, test your limits and see how much speed you can handle under the guidance of your coach. With 5 unreal laps around the track, you'll soon realise how easy it is to drive this purpose build racing car.
Remember to invite friends and family along - it's seriously exciting from the sidelines!

Duration
- Please allow 2-3 hours for this experience, including the briefing and driving.
Departure Location
- This experience takes place at Queensland Raceway at 133 Champions Way, Willowbank, QLD 4306.
What To Bring
- Wear comfortable clothing as the race suit will need to go over any clothing you choose to wear. Fully enclosed, flat-soled shoes, long sleeves and long pants are required (normal runners are fine).
Terms And Conditions
- Participants must be at least 18 years and hold your Learner's Licence with a minimum 50 hours log booked
- Participants need to be within the maximum height of 194cm and minimum height of 135cm with maximum weight below 120kg
- Cars are manual however no prior experience of driving a manual-transmission vehicle is required
- Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
- You will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in the experience
- All minors must be accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian on the day
- A current photo ID for both the passenger (student ID) and parent will need to be shown along with proof of guardianship, ie Medicare card
- If you normally wear spectacles, it is essential that they are soft frames and face fitting to ensure that they fit inside the helmet. Contact lenses are not a preferred option as they often become dislodged+
- Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20-25 people
Cancellation Policy
- For any re-bookings more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event date, there shall be no penalty applicable.
- For any re-bookings 30 - 14 days prior to a scheduled event date, a re-booking fee of $50 shall be applicable.
- For all bookings made directly with Queensland Raceway, this shall be processed by way of placing the appropriate credit on the customer's Queensland Raceways Account to enable the customer to re-book at a later time.
- There are no booking changes permitted within 14 days of an event. Any customer which fails to attend their experience booking without modifying their booking prior to the 14-day cutoff shall forfeit their booking & all monies paid.
- Refunds are not offered on Any V8 Race Experience purchases. If a customer is no longer able to attend their booking, they are permitted to nominate an alternative participant.
- If the experience is cancelled by Queensland Raceway, all bookings are to be rescheduled to a new date.

Amazing experience
