Kangaroo Point Cliffs are the perfect location for an exciting outdoor rock climbing activity, and climbing at night gives the experience a unique edge.

Just across the Brisbane River, the heritage-listed Kangaroo Point Cliffs offer 20-metre-high natural rock faces where you can put your climbing skills to the test. Whether you’re an absolute beginner, a pro climber, or want to bring the whole family, this rock climbing experience can cater to any and all levels.

You’ll get familiar with all the climbing equipment and safety techniques before embarking on your first climb, and qualified instructors will be there to help you climb and refine your skills the whole time. Learn how to tie in and belay as you take turns taking on the climbing wall. For three hours, enjoy the thrill of rock climbing in the evening light (or lack thereof) with your group, family, or friends.

Operating Hours

This experience is 3 hours in duration from 6 pm to 9 pm

What To Bring

It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement and will be comfortable with a harness
Tights, long pants or mid-length shorts are ideal
You will need to bring socks for climbing shoes
Water bottle
If you have some climbing gear, bring it along (use is subject to inspection by the instructor)

Additional Information

Light rain or patchy weather is acceptable and does not mean that we will cancel your adventure, but ‘set-in’ rain, extreme heat or high winds may necessitate that we re-schedule.
Your Pinnacle Sports guide will contact you via email and text message if the activity needs to be postponed.

Terms And Conditions

All levels of rock climbing experience from beginner to advanced can be catered for
You must disclose any health conditions or limitations that may endanger yourself or others, and you will be required to sign a disclaimer on the day
Participants under the age of 18 must have their waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian
Participants 8-16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
All participants under the age of 13 can climb only. They must be accompanied by an adult to assist them with belaying
Not suitable for pregnant women

Cancellation Policy

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
