Story Bridge Spectacular!

Had a great night walking the story bridge. We had a great guide who explained all the ins and out of when the bridge was built. Very interesting. At night it looks spectacular.

Fantastic experience

My best friend and I had a really good time doing the bridge climb. Our guide was fantastic and full of energy. The weather was nice and safety is paramount which they dutifully take care of. Would highly recommend doing this.

What you can expect

Twilight Climb – the ultimate climb time begins as the day ends. Twilight captures the perfect balance as the sun sets on the horizon and the city comes to life with lights. This fun and informative guided tour takes in a full 360-degree panorama of Brisbane’s evening and night skyline plus the ever-changing Story Bridge LED lighting system.

  • Free CityHopper (KittyKat) ferry, operates every 30 mins. to take guests sailing under the bridge to the Howard Smith Wharves ferry terminal.
  • Departing Holman St. to Howard Smith Wharves - 22mins. and 52mins. past the hour
  • Departing Howard Smith Wharves to Homan St. - 18mins. and 48mins. past the hour
  • This experience is located in 5 Boundary Street, Brisbane QLD 4000

What To Bring

  • Bring as few personal items as possible as no items of any form can be taken on the climb
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Fully enclosed rubber soled footwear - PVC and leather-soled shoes are unsuitable
  • Comfortable, weather appropriate clothes for under the climb suit

Additional Information

  • Maximum group size is 12
  • All participants must arrive 20 minutes prior to climb time to check in
  • Closed: Christmas Day - 25 December, Riverfire Festival (dates vary each year in August and September)
  • Avoid alcohol before you climb - Story Bridge Adventure Climb reserves the right to breath test all climbers. You will need to complete a declaration form and satisfy Story Bridge Adventure Climb's terms and conditions
  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and are only valid for the booked climb

Terms And Conditions

  • Minimum age is 6 years
  • Minimum height is 110cm
  • Maximum weight is 130kg
  • Not suitable for anyone with medical conditions including: neck, back, heart disorders, high/low blood pressure, recent surgery/illness/ injury, or other relevant medical conditions
  • Children aged 6-16 must travel with an adult, and the ratio can be up to three children per one adult
  • Climbers will also be required to pass an alcohol breath test before departure
  • For the entire duration of the climb, all climbers are attached to a static line with experienced Climb Leaders ready to support and encourage those who are a little anxious whilst climbing
  • Expectant mothers can climb up to 20 weeks

Cancellation Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and are only valid for the booked climb
  • Gift Certificates are non-refundable
  • No refund will be provided in case of booking cancellation or no-show Requests to change a booking (subject to SBAC management approval) may only be made to the time or date of a climb but not to the number or identity of climbers. Administration fees apply as follows:
  • Requests to change a booking up to 14 days before the climb date will incur a $50 fee per booking
  • Requests to change a booking within 13 days to 72 hours will incur a $25 rescheduling fee per booked climber
  • Requests to change a booking within 72 hours cannot be accommodated
  • In the case of purchases bought through a reseller, that reseller will be responsible for any rescheduling administration, in accordance with SBAC’s rescheduling policies

Great experience

What a great experience! Booking and arriving was super easy. The staff member who took us up was great. Definitely would recommend for an activity outside the box!
