Great cruise to see the whales
We have hope to see the whales jumping but they turned around the ship for a whole hour and that was magic
Best water trip ever.
I went on this fantastic trip this week. We saw so many whales with their young ones, some coming alongside the boat to check us out and give a little wave. We were even lucky enough to have one breach right in front of the bow of the boat. Very exciting to see. Crew kept us all informed and provided some very interesting information on whales in general. Would recommend this trip to everyone. Also caters for disabled access which was great to see.
What you can expect
Sit in the front row and watch as the humpback whales migrate through Moreton Bay on this exclusive half-day VIP whale watching experience on board the 'Eye-Spy'. You'll get access to the VIP area with fewer than 30 guests per tour and stay inside a climate-regulated cabin for four to six people. The elevated viewing deck, in addition to an outside viewing balcony, promise uninterrupted views of the magnificent marine life. Humpback whale mothers are often seen swimming together with their calves and watching them splash, wave their tails and blow water into the air will fill you with joy. High jumps and huge breaches on the water's surface make for a great photo to remember this incredible day. Don't miss out on the opportunity to take a look into the captain's wheelhouse. Accompanied by live expert commentary, the team is teaching you about whale behaviour, the local marine environment and the importance of ongoing whale research. - Infants under three years of age can attend free of charge
- Tables within the cabin are not exclusive to one booking and may be shared depending on the number on the day
- Cabins have tables for four or six guests available
- Whale sight guarantee, you receive a complimentary cruise if no whales are spotted during the cruise
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Part of the ticket fee is donated to ongoing whale research with various whale organisation's
- Non-paying infants are required to sit on a parents lap, unless they are charged as a child and can therefore be allocated a seat
- Natural motion-sickness tablets are available on board

Bucket list success
Two us did the tour....there was a long time between when we were told to arrive and actually left.....that said...people were still making their way along the boardwalk long after they were told to be there. The boat was comfortable and around 3/4 full with a variety of travellers. Your seating is restricted to certain areas so book your seats carefully. Staff were attentive and helpful....sick bags were needed on the way out...take sea sick pills as per the instructions if you need them. Took a while to catch up to the whales but there were plenty of opportunities to see them when we got near. Fresh lunch was great and trip back to port was calm...... via a sea turtle playground..... all in all a great day out.
