What you can expect
Spend a full day immersed in the natural beauty of Fitzroy Island with convenient return ferry transfers from Cairns. Your adventure begins in the morning ensuring you make the most of your island experience. Aboard a comfortable vessel, you'll embark on a scenic journey to Fitzroy Island arriving in just under 45 minutes.
Once on the island, you'll have around six hours to explore. Wander through lush rainforest trails, discover accessible sections of the iconic Great Barrier Reef and engage in a variety of optional extra activities. Snorkel alongside vibrant clownfish and graceful sea turtles or jump on a glass-bottom boat tour to see the reef without getting wet. For the more adventurous, kayaking and island explorations and a visit to the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre offers a unique opportunity to learn about the conservation efforts of these magnificent creatures.

Excellent service
From start to finish, the experience was truly memorable. The ferry support was seamless, and everything ran right on time, which made the journey stress-free. The crew stood out, they were friendly, attentive, and ensured everyone was comfortable throughout. The vessel itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive impression. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, which did affect comfort at times. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic, and I would still highly recommend this experience.
