Hop aboard a fast 45-minute catamaran ride across the Coral Sea from Cairns, taking you to the stunning Green Island, where you’ll spend two hours exploring this unique coral cay, home to both reef and rainforest. Your adventure then continues to Great Adventures’ spacious activity platform, anchored on the majestic Outer Great Barrier Reef, for the next phase of your reef exploration.From the activity platform, there’s something for everyone, whether you're a swimmer or not. The air-conditioned, semi-submersible and underwater observatory lets you experience the reef without getting wet, offering a close-up view of its vibrant marine life. If you prefer to dive right in, snorkel straight off the platform through spectacular coral gardens teeming with colourful fish, or relax on the sundeck while enjoying a delicious buffet lunch, all while taking in the breathtaking marine surroundings.
