What you can expect
Throw yourself in the deep end and explore the outstanding and unique underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef during this exciting overnight adventure. You'll get up close to an abundance of colourful corals and marine life at a number of snorkelling and diving sites, and enjoy a night at sea. The boat sets off from Cairns and heads straight to Thetford Reef, located in the Outer Reef. Four dive and snorkel sessions are on offer here, and each dive is suited to everyone's individual ability. Sites include the Labyrinth, the Lagoon, Hurricane Bay and Coral Gardens showcasing shallow coral gardens, isolated pinnacles, caverns, swim-throughs and spectacular walls. At sunset, relax over a delicious dinner served on board and enjoy your fellow diver's company. Kickstart a new day with an invigorating morning dive and snorkel, before enjoying a hearty breakfast. Your last underwater adventure includes awesome swim-throughs and caverns followed by a quick lunch and departure to Cairns. Keep watch for dolphins and whales as you sail back.

- Should a cruise not operate for any such reason due to weather, passengers will be offered an alternate trip or refund for the days lost.
Operating Hours
- This experience is two days and one night in duration
- Departs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Please arrive at the departure point at 7am
- You'll be on the Reef from 11am till around midday the next day
- The boat returns to the marina at 3pm

- Minimum age for diving is 12 years
- All passengers will be required to complete and sign a waiver release and indemnity form on board the boat. This document contains a statement regarding your current health and medical fitness to dive
- The experience provider recommends you do not fly within 24 hours of your final dive

Splendid adventure and great price
GREAT experience over two days and welcoming hosts/guides. Would definitely recommend them. Would suit anyone who want to experience diving or snorkeling at multiple sites in the Great Barrier Reef at a budget. Richard and his team did an amazing job to make sure people of all skill levels had the best experience. The boat has all the amenities required over the two days including food and drinks!!

I have truly enjoyed this, not your classic, too comfortable and touristic experience, so maybe not for everybody, but I would definitely said for anyone with a bit of an adventurer in them, raw and pristine experience! The crew was super experienced, knowledgeable, with a great night show about the Great barrier reef, thanks for all the knowledge! The schedule is tight, so the value is truly amazing for your money and if you ever want to calm it down, you can rest instead of having a dive/snorkel. Great food, everything you need. The certificated dives for 30aud, option of 6 of them in 2 days was amazing (including one night dive). Super happy I had booked this! I will be recommending this! Thank you guys for an amazing time!
