What you can expect
Get ready to light up the night with this two-hour kayaking adventure on Lake Macquarie. In your illuminated, clear kayak, you'll push off into the darkness as the water beneath you glows to life. The light reveals schools of fish, stingrays, and other marine life swimming right below. Your guides keep the energy high with stories and plenty of laughs as you explore the waterways and its stunning underwater world.
Halfway through, you'll pull up onto a sand island to take a break, stretch, and look at the starry night sky. Then jump back in your kayak for the return journey, cruising over the glowing water. With quality gear, friendly guides, and a small group of fellow explorers, this is an unforgettable night on the water, paddling, laughing, and soaking up the beautiful nighttime scenery.

What To Bring

Terms And Conditions
- Maximum of 12 participants
- Minimum age is seven years old
- Solo bookings will be paired with another guest
- Children aged seven to 13 must kayak with an adult
- Guests under 18 must be signed in by a parent or guardian
- Maximum weight limit is 120kg per person or 200kg per double kayak
- First-time kayakers may be matched with experienced paddlers for safety
- Swimming is not permitted due to the presence of marine life such as sharks and stingrays
- Medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, asthma, cardiovascular conditions), pregnancy, and any injury, disability, disease, or illness that may affect safe participation must be disclosed prior to booking
- Weather conditions can be unpredictable, and guides will assess safety at the time of the tour. If the tour is deemed unsafe, you’ll receive a credit to rebook or may request a full refund
- Dry bags are available on kayaks for storing valuables
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
