What you can expect

Get ready for the extreme adrenaline rush as you come face-to-face with one of Australia's iconic and huge saltwater crocodiles in The Cage of Death at Darwin’s Crocosaurus Cove. This is the ultimate heart-pounding animal encounter, where you'll be plunged into the enclosure with a giant croc for 15 minutes, observing the action from inside a purpose-built acrylic cage.

Nothing compares to the thrill of coming face-to-face with these apex predators, and The Cage of Death is a seriously unforgettable adventure. You'll jump inside the acrylic cage as it's lowered into one of the four separate crocodile enclosures for your up close and personal dive encounter with one of the park’s massive saltwater crocodiles. Watch as the croc demonstrates its sheer power, cunning and size during the 15 minute plunge, and tick this must-do Darwin adventure off your bucket list.
