What you can expect
Get out on the water at sunset and explore the Corroboree Billabong. Just 90 minutes from Darwin in the beautiful Mary River Wetlands, this is a hot spot full of saltwater crocodiles and an abundance of other wildlife.
The Billabong is home to the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world, and as the sun sets the area comes alive with crocs cruising past and basking on the banks. On your two hour cruise also look out for a huge range of colourful birdlife, including white-bellied sea eagles, black neck storks, jacanas, herons, honeyeaters, flycatchers and more.
Your guide will give you expert insights about the wildlife and the area, taking you to the best spots along the Corroboree Billabong. Between the sunset and the wildlife spotting, this cruise is an unforgettable adventure and a pristine photo opportunity.

Departure Location
- The cruise departure point is located 104km from Darwin and takes approximately 90 minutes
- Self-drivers please turn off from the Arnhem Highway to Corroboree Billabong is on the left just 1 km past Corroboree Park Tavern (towards Kakadu). It is 20 km from the Arnhem Highway turnoff to the cruise at Corroboree Billabong, the last 4km is on a well-maintained gravel road
- If you don't wish to drive your vehicle on an unsealed road, there is a shuttle service to the cruise from Corroboree Park Tavern which can cost $5 per person. Please arrange directly with the supplier
