Swimming with whale sharks on the Ningaloo Reef
Jumping into the ocean and swimming with the biggest fish in the world is something I won’t forget any time soon. Seeing a whale shark in action up close was mind-blowing. You don’t realise how big they are until you spot one swimming in the flesh.
Soak it in and ditch the camera on your first swim
When you’re first jumping in with the whale shark, leave your camera behind. There will be plenty of time on the second and third drops to capture footage. Just soak it all in and let yourself be fully present in the first moment. Try it for yourself!
