Absolutely unforgettable experience. Easily one of the best adventures I’ve had in Australia. Everything was organised perfectly from start to finish. The pickup was on time, the bus was comfortable, the boat was excellent, and even the food was surprisingly delicious. On top of that, the price was honestly one of the best compared to other tours in the city. The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the entire trip. They helped me many times during the tour, especially on the boat when I was exhausted from the long day in the ocean. They even made sure I got an amazing photo with the whale shark behind me, which became one of my favourite memories from Australia. A very special thank you to Malo. I genuinely cannot describe how helpful and supportive he was in the water. I was extremely tired at one point, and he kept checking on me and helping me during the trip. That level of care made the experience feel safe, personal, and unforgettable. This was not just a tour. It honestly felt like a once in a lifetime experience. Huge respect to the entire team. What you can expect
Don’t just see the whales, swim with them! A bucket list opportunity awaits with Ningaloo Reef, who are one of only a few organisations licensed to offer a swimming experience with Humpback Whales. On this full day tour, guests will journey into the waters of Ningaloo Marine Park, a major part of the whales’ migratory route, where in 2016, an estimated 30,000 whales passed through and rested.
The spacious 60ft luxury powerboat allows for 360-degree viewing with plenty of space to relax on lounge beds and bow nets, while a dedicated spotter plane searches and directs the captain to pods of whales or other marine wildlife. When a pod of whales is located, guests can enjoy watching them from within the boat while the experienced crew assess their behaviour according to Department of Wildlife regulations.
The safety of guests and respect for the whales is a top priority so if conditions aren’t right the search will continue for more whales, but in most cases these creatures will be interactive, inquisitive and playful. The chance to swim with Humpback Whales in the wild is a moving experience and the tour operators will do everything in their power to see guests swimming beside a Humpback Whale. With an intimate group of 7, plus a guide, you’ll encounter the whales like never before!

Time
- This is a full day tour, departing at 7.45 am and returning 4.30 pm.
Departure Location
- Cruise departs from 1112 Murat Rd, Exmouth, WA 6707. Guests will be transported from their accommodation by Ningaloo Discovery. At the end of the day they will be dropped back to their accommodation.

Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
