This Hervey Bay whale watching experience takes you on a journey through the Great Sandy Strait, passing the stunning western side of the World Heritage-listed K'Gari - Fraser Island. These clear waters are full of interesting marine life, so keep your eyes open.

Of course, it's majestic humpback whales you're here to see, and once these beautiful creatures and located you'll be able to enjoy incredible, up close views from the unique water-level viewing platform with underwater windows. You'll be amazed as you watch them move through the water on this comfortable air-conditioned vessel.

Morning cruises depart the Hervey Bay Marina at 8.30am and return at 12.30pm, and afternoon cruises depart at 1.30pm and return at 5.30pm (July to October)

Terms And Conditions

Seasonal experience that runs from mid-July until the end of October each year
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If your experience is cancelled your will be rescheduled by the provider.
Minimum 6 passengers and a maximum 80 passengers.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled outside 48 hours prior to departure
Cancellation within 48 hours of travel – 50% cancellation fee applies
Cancellation within 24 hours of travel – 100% cancellation fee applies

The most amazing experience. We saw so many Whales. (Dolphins and even a Dugong) I would do it again.
