Itinerary

Day 1
Pick-up from your Noosa accommodation between 5.20-5.45am - Travel north to Inskip Point and board the ferry. Keep an eye out for dolphins, dugongs, and seabirds on the way to World Heritage-listed K’gari (Fraser Island)
Drive along the famous 75 Mile Beach highway to Pile Valley for a rainforest walk among towering satinay and brush box trees. Continue to Boorangoora (Lake McKenzie) for a swim in the crystal-clear waters and a relaxed picnic lunch. Learn about the island’s ecology, native wildlife, and Butchulla culture from your guide
In the late afternoon, check-in at the permanent eco tents. Unwind with a sunset platter on the beach, enjoy a hearty Aussie BBQ dinner, and gather around the campfire for a K’gari Star Show (weather permitting)
Day 2
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Travel north along 75 Mile Beach to Eli Creek for floating in freshwater, then visit the SS Maheno Shipwreck and hear its fascinating history
Continue inland along the Southern Lakes Circuit to Lake Birrabeen for a quieter swim, then explore Central Station and the serene Wanggoolba Creek with its rainforest boardwalks
Enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back along 75 Mile Beach to catch the ferry
Drop-off at Noosa at around 5.30-7pm
