Really good experience, My partner really enjoyed it and we are thinking of making it an annual thing to go back to try and improve his time.

What you can expect
Nothing gets your adrenaline pumping like a 10-lap driving session in a race-prepared V8 Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon around a race track. Get behind the wheel and take on the track at Norwell on the Gold Coast, then jump into the front seat and experience the thrill of two hot laps with a professional driver for the ultimate driving experience.
Your exciting day begins with a briefing conducted by experienced drivers during hot laps of the track driven by your instructor. Safety and track awareness will also be discussed before it's your turn to master the V8 engine.
Let your inner revhead loose as you drive 10 laps around the custom-built 2.1km circuit with long straights, sweeping bends and hairpin turns, so get ready for an unforgettable drive. Then to show you what these V8 Supercars are really capable of, switch seats with a professional driver and hold on for two front seat hot laps that will blow your mind.
There is an online leaderboard that drivers can access, so if you want you can show off your lap time to your mates after your experience, and compare your lap time to the professionals that have also been around the track.
As you tear up the track there is a clubhouse stacked with racing memorabilia where your friends and family can watch you race. Plus, the circuit is home to Paul Morris’ V8 Supercar workshop and has a clubhouse packed with racing memorabilia. If you're lucky you may bump into a big name driver or two.

Additional Information
- A fleet of Commodores and Falcons have been purpose-built onsite by Paul Morris Motorsports. The vehicles are presented in a selection of V8 Supercar team liveries. All vehicles are equipped with a safety roll cage, racing seats and harnesses, full race aero kits, quick-shift gearboxes, V8 Supercar-like suspension and slick racing tyres.
- The V8 Supercars Official Driving Experience, located at the Performance Driving Centre and owned by V8 Supercar driver and team owner, Paul Morris, is located just 30 minutes from both Gold Coast and Brisbane and is the first and only performance driving centre in Australia to be officially endorsed by V8 Supercars.
Terms And Conditions
- All participants must hold a valid manual or automatic drivers’ licence, P-plate drivers are accepted. Some experience in a manual transmission car is recommended
- No real fitness is required but if you have any medical concerns or dietary restrictions, please advise the experience provider as soon as possible so we can accommodate you
- Anyone found to be over 0.00% BAC will not be permitted to participate
- Contact for advice if you are larger than a 5XL Shirt
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
