What you can expect
Spend two hours out in the sunshine and in the pristine waters of Broadbeach learning how to surf. Known as one of the most iconic surfing destinations in Australia, not to mention one of the most popular holiday destinations, the Gold Coast is the perfect place to learn how to surf with professional instructors.
Over the course of two hours, your skilled surf coach will teach you the basics of the sport, from ocean safety to correct paddling technique and stance in order to be up riding wave. Your Gold Coast surfing lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing and demonstration, before heading out into the water to put all the theory into practice.
After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for more detailed guidance on how to stand up, before spending the rest of the lesson in the water working on your skills. In no time at all, you'll be riding those waves like a pro.

- This activity is not normally suitable for physically disabled customers because it requires a level of balance, but it may be suitable if a carer can paddle with them together on a large board
