Canyon Flyer Mount Tamborine

Today I went on a amazing adventure. The buggy ride up the hill to the starting point of the Canyon Flyer was super fun. I''m not a adrenaline seeker so the Canyon Flyer definitely put me out of my comfort zone but our to two guides were hilariously funny and did a awesome job of keeping us safe and engaged throughout the whole course. Are you Ready for a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled flight across an actual canyon on the longest, fastest and highest zipline tour in Australia? Of course you are.

Experience the unbelievable thrill of being more than 70m high and attaining speeds as fast as 70 km/h! Bring a phone or action camera with you to capture all the adventure and keep it safely stored in a pouch attached to your harness during the tour.

Begin your journey with a fun, scenic ride to the starting point, where we experienced (and hilarious!) guides will help ease any pre-flight nerves. The first zipline will help you build your confidence and teach you how to get the most out of each zipline before you cross 2 plank bridges to the first incredible zipline of the tour where you prepare to soar at speeds up to 70 km/h, suspended up to 70 meters above ground!

You’ll fly above the treetops and conquer any fear of heights on our Canyon Flyer zipline tour at Tamborine Mtn. This area is blessed with ancient rainforests (some of the oldest in Australia), so keep your eyes open and look around as you pass over the rainforest.

This epic journey features eight incredible ziplines, the longest spanning over 300 meters, giving you a breathtaking 1.5 km of pure adrenaline over ancient rainforest, cliffsides, and high above the tree canopy. With only one point where you’ll touch the ground, you’ll be fully immersed in the treetops for a truly unique experience.

Unlike our TreeTop Adventure Park, there are no tough or technical elements to pass through, just incredible, seemingly endless ziplines all the way. This makes the Canyon Flyer an unforgettable experience for all fitness levels, with no prior experience required to have fun leaving you with sky-high confidence and memories to last a lifetime.

Additional Information

All courses are designed for adventurers aged 8+ and can reach the minimum height requirement: Must reach 160cm to the palms of their hands with both hands stretched above their head.
To access the blue and black levels, guests must be able to reach 180cm with the palm of your hand stretched above your head.
Children under 18 require a parent/adult to sign the consent form. We highly recommend all children climbing with an adult. Not suited for children under 7 or who do not reach the minimum height requirement.
The Tree Top Challenge activity will require you to conquer your fear of heights and is suitable only for persons physically and mentally able to sustain a minimum of physical exertion and stress.
Tree Top Challenge sadly is not recommended to pregnant women, brittle bones, people with heart problems, epilepsy, high blood pressure or any other adverse medical condition.
Enclosed shoes must be worn during this activity.
Long hair must be tightly tied back
Your ticket does not include entry to the Sanctuary’s or the shows, attractions or exhibits. After you have completed the Tree Top Challenge, you have an opportunity to upgrade to the Experience Pass which gives you an access to the whole sanctuary at extra cost if you wish.
Spectator pass. We understand that not everyone within the group will want to participate in the high ropes course. Those guests not undertaking the high ropes courses will be required to purchase a ‘spectators pass’ from the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary main gate before making their way to the TreeTop Challenge check in counter

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your session beginning. The TreeTop Challenge is a 10 minute walk from the entry of the wildlife sanctuary.
Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher or have it ready available on your phone, to present on the day of your booking.
Please complete your individual waiver forms prior to arrival.

Terms And Conditions

All participants must weigh between 40kg and 120kg.
Children under 18 require parental consent to be signed (for children 14 and over, parents can sign consent at sign in). It is recommended that children under 14 are supervised by an adult throughout. Not suited for children under 7.
The activity is not recommended to pregnant women, brittle bones, people with heart problems, high blood pressure or any other adverse medical condition.

Cancellation Policy

Changes to the date or time of your booking must be received by the operator (TreeTop Challenge) 24 hours prior to your experience. All changes are subject to availability.
Inside 24 hours a 100% cancellation fee is charged.
