Floating above the Gold Coast hinterland at sunrise felt completely surreal. The world was so quiet and peaceful, and watching the first light hit the mountains was just magical. Perfect way to start the day.
What you can expect
Reach thrilling heights and soak in views of the Gold Coast during this sunrise hot air balloon flight. For about an hour, you will enjoy floating with the wind high above the world below.
Your ballooning adventure begins before sunrise, where you'll be driven from the meeting point to the launch site. Once the balloon is inflated and you've climbed inside the basket, your pilot will gently take off and soar high above the Gold Coast. Depending on the weather and winds of the day, you will fly above either the city skyline or hinterland. Either way, the stunning landscape lit up with sunrise colours will be unforgettable.
Following the flight, make your way to the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort for a delicious five star breakfast with bubbles. This is an unbelievable adventure worth getting up early for!

- As part of the fun adventure, customers are invited to help roll out the air in the balloons. If you do not wish to participate, that is totally fine
- Being a weather dependent activity, please be aware it can take several attempts to fly
Terms And Conditions
- Children must be at least three yearsold to fly
- Participants under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult
- Passengers who have significant knee, hip or back problems must consult with the pilot prior to their flight
- In the unfortunate event that a flight must be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled due to any factor, the operator will hold payment and offer alternative dates.
- If your flight has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, please contact the operator as soon as possible to rebook. The operator will not accept any liability for travel, accommodation, inconvenience or other costs incurred or lost through such cancellation
- Rebooking must be done within 12 months of the first cancelled flight date. There will be no refunds for any bookings held for longer than 12 months, this will be at the discretion of the operator and additional fees may apply
- Where flights have been cancelled by the operator and should the customer be unable to re-fly, a full refund will be offered
Cancellation Policy
- Flight cancellation by Customer:
- Within 48 hours prior to a flight no changes are permitted
- Between 48 hours and 7 days prior to rescheduling a flight - a $50 per person re-booking fee will be charged; weekday flights will need to be re-scheduled on a weekday flight only, excluding public holidays. Bookings cancelled up to 7 days prior to a flight date cannot be refunded.
- Beyond 7 days of flight date bookings can be altered - a $25 rebooking fee will be charged per booking; weekday flights will need to be re-scheduled on a weekday flight only, excluding public holidays. Bookings cancelled beyond 7 days prior to a flight date can be refunded and a $50 administration fee will be retained. Under no circumstances will any previous rebooking fees be refunded, only the original ticket amount can be considered refundable.
- You will lose the full cost of your flight if you fail to show for your flight no matter what the reason. Strictly no refunds
- Flight cancellation by Operator:
- In the unfortunate event that a flight must be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled due to any factor, the operator will hold payment and offer alternative dates. Tickets are refundable if cancelled by Go Ballooning under unsuitable weather conditions.
- If your flight has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, please contact the operator as soon as possible to rebook. The operator will not accept any liability for travel, accommodation, inconvenience or other costs incurred or lost through such cancellation. International, interstate and country visitors should factor the possibility of short notice cancellation
- Rebooking must be done within 12 months of the first cancelled flight date. Rebooking a flight date is subject to availability. There will be no refunds for any bookings held for longer than 12 months, this will be at the discretion of the operator and additional fees may apply
