What you can expect
Explore the Gold Coast your way! Set off on a three-hour self-drive electric boat adventure for up to eight people. Each boat comes with a picnic table - perfect for your snacks and drinks - so you can relax, socialise, and enjoy the journey at your own pace. No boat license is required, and our friendly staff will give you a quick tutorial on operating the boat. You’ll also receive a map of our operational area and guidance on the best route to take.
Cruise past iconic landmarks such as Q1, the Home of the Arts (HOTA), the Langham Hotel, and the stunning canals. On board, take advantage of the picnic table, cup holders, and canopy for maximum comfort. And don’t forget your furry friends—our boats are pet-friendly!
With a quiet, eco-friendly electric motor, you can enjoy the serenity of the water without engine noise or fumes, making it the perfect way to soak up the scenery. This adventure is ideal for friends or family looking to create lasting memories and simply enjoy a day out on the Gold Coast waterways.

Time
- This experience is available daily at various times between 9am and 4pm
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure
- Boats depart exactly at the scheduled time and return after 3 hours.

- This experience is three hours in duration.

What To Bring
- Sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen
- Your own food and drinks, treats for dogs if needed
Terms And Conditions
- The nominated skipper must be at least 18 years of age
- Maximum legal capacity per boat is eight participants including children
- Photo ID must be provided, preferably of the individual who made the booking
- The skipper must maintain a 0.00 BAC
- Guests may consume up to two alcoholic beverages per person
- A security bond of $200 is required and will be taken as a pre-authorisation from a valid debit card and will be cancelled once the boat is returned without damage
- If you choose to use a credit card, the pre-authorisation amount will be $1
- It is not permitted to dock the boat at another location, it must remain on the water for the duration of their booking
- Fishing is not permitted
- A $20 surcharge applies on Weekends and Public Holidays
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- Mobile vouchers are accepted

A chilled boat ride down the Nerang River, and great to take kids and your dog on the boat!
A chilled boat ride down the Nerang River, and great to take kids and your dog on the boat! There's several time options depending on how far you want to take the boat, and each boat is equipped with a table and is great for a river picnic. The boats travel quite slow, but is suitable for a chilled cruise along the river, with several river pathways to explore. The lady (first week on the job?) was truly fantastic, welcoming and made the experience very enjoyable. To access the boats, you need to travel through the shopping centre towards the river (or walk around the underground carpark and around the side if taking your dog). There's a grocery store inside for topping up any picnic items too.
