Wonderful experience
We loved this hot air balloon flight for a number of reasons. The staff were all fantastic starting with the joyful and informative bus driver. He really kicked the early morning off in a positive way. The pilot was also fantastic with heaps of knowledge to share about ballooning and the local area. The flight itself was so peaceful and even though there were 24 people in the basket, it was so nice. I would 100% recommend if you are looking for a romantic date. The whole thing was well organised and really enjoyable.

What you can expect
Start your day elegantly by rising with the sun and basking in the morning Gold Coast sunshine. You'll be picked up from your Gold Coast accommodation nice and early before dawn, but we promise it will be worth it! Your driver will take you to the launch site where you'll watch in awe as the balloon inflates, ready to lift you skywards.
Once you climb inside the basket, your pilot will release you, and you'll really begin to soar! See sweeping hills, morning mist, and the early bird wildlife coming to life for the day. You'll touch down and be greeted by the ground crew, ready to toast your amazing adventure with a glass of bubbles, before you board the transfer bus back to your accommodation. You'll also receive a bonus photo package to commemorate your day.

Time
- Rides operate daily
- Pickup time varies depending on the time of year, so you will be contacted with an accurate pick up time after booking
- Rides end around 8am in summer and 9am in winter

- This experience is approximately 30 minutes in duration, depending on the winds
Departure Location
- This experience includes return transfers to and from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach and Southport. Please advise your address at the time of booking.

Terms And Conditions
- Minimum age is three years old
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- Participants must be agile enough to climb into the basket and stand for the duration of the flight
- Women over 12 weeks pregnant are unable to fly
- If you have participated in scuba diving in the past 24 hours, you are unable to fly
- Passengers with medical or accessibility issues should consult a doctor before flying
- There is a zero tolerance towards alcohol or drug use prior to or during the flight
- Handbags and backpacks are not permitted in the balloon
- In the event of the onboard camera failing, no compensation or refund will be given
- Timings may be adjusted due to seasonal changes
- Please consult your booking confirmation for accurate times
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
