Best afternoon out!
We had an incredible trip, the team were on time, kind and super informative. The boat was lovely too. Best thing we had the most anazing whale watching experience, once we saw the first whale the boat kept a respectful distance for the whale but allowed us a great amount of time to observe.

We had a wonderful experience during the whale watching trip, we were surprised with Dolphines too. The team was professional and gave us hot drinks and a snack.

Launch into the open water aboard the Sun Goddess, a 34-metre luxury yacht kitted out for those who don’t just like nature, they live for it. This isn’t your average whale watching cruise. It's a 2.5 hour front-row seat to the raw power of migrating humpbacks, with a side of morning tea, ocean spray, and the Gold Coast skyline views. You’ll start your morning fuelled up with coffee, tea and bickies before chasing giants across the blue.
Out on deck, it’s all about movement, both yours and theirs. As the whales breach and dive around you, our onboard marine biologist keeps you in the loop with the good oil on everything from migration habits to whale singalongs. Dolphins, turtles, and sea birds may tag along too if you're lucky. With rotating viewing decks, a fully stocked bar and a top-notch crew, you’ll stay right in the thick of the action without missing a beat. Additional Information
- No step free access to boat
- Please be aware that due to some stairs and confined spaces only fold up strollers on board.
- Boattime reserves the right to substitute another Vessel of similar standard if “Sun Goddess” or “Mermaid Spirit” are unavailable.
- This Cruise is weather dependent and may be cancelled by Boattime due to weather and dangerous tides. Boattime will endeavour to give as much notice of cancellation via SMS text message and email.
- All cancelled cruises can be rebooked for an alternate available service.
- No external Food or beverages are allowed on board “Sun Goddess” or "Mermaid Spirit"
Terms And Conditions
- It is at the organisers discretion to investigate with Photographer and Crew of sightings of whales.
- If no whales are sighted on your cruise, another cruise will be offered. No refunds are given
- Child tickets are valid for ages 3-13years. Infants under 3 years travel Free of Charge. Must be advised at time of booking
- If you are prone to seasickness, please contact a pharmacy for information. Please ensure taken 30mins before boarding as the crew cannot provide medication
- No external Food or beverages are allowed on board “Sun Goddess” or Mermaid Spirit
- Participants in their third trimester of pregnancy must advise this at the time of booking
- Baby Strollers are accepted on-board all cruises with the exception of Whale Watching. Prams/Strollers can be stored at the Jetty
- Unfortunately, our vessels are not Wheelchair friendly
- The organiser reserves the right to substitute another Vessel of similar standard if “Sun Goddess” or “Mermaid Spirit” are unavailable
- Bookings will not be accepted via sms. Please send all inquiries/bookings to whales@boattimeyachtcharters.com.au
- Participant can change a booking up to 48 hours prior with no charge. After a participant changes the booking two times, there will be a $20 charge for any further changes
- A minimum number of passengers are required to run this tour
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
