Your surf lesson takes place just north of Surfers Paradise at The Spit Beach, one of the few remaining uncrowded beaches on the Gold Coast so there will be plenty of waves to work with. The beach is also protected by the Seaway wall which makes conditions perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers.

To get started you’ll set some goals that suit your ability with your dedicated surf coach. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or an experienced surfer looking to hone in your technique, a private lesson is the most effective way to improve.

If you’re just getting started the instructor will take you through surf conditions and techniques before getting in the water to help you catch waves and stand up. If you’re more advanced your instructor will focus on technique and board control to help you move onto the next steps.
