What you can expect
Ascend to the peak of the world's largest residential building - the Q1 - in this 90-minute twilight climbing experience in Surfers Paradise. An extraordinary activity for thrill seekers and tourists looking for a special adrenaline kick. Prepare by putting on your climbing suit and get fitted into the harness before you begin conquering the around 140 stairs leading up the massive spire. The challenging walk will be rewarded as you reach the roof just in time to witness the golden hues of a sunset painted in the horizon.
If you are looking for something a little extra, walk out to the edge of the glass roof and look down the 270 meters above sea level. Step out of your comfort zone and truly feel alive. - This experience departs from SkyPoint Climb's mission control, located on the street level of Q1, Surfers Paradise Blvd, Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217.
What To Bring
- Enclosed, rubber soles shoes; no sandals or open toed shoes
- Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the date
- Please remove jewellery such as rings, necklaces, piercing jewellery and watches
Terms And Conditions
- This experience is not suitable for those whose health, physical or psychological condition, or any other personal factor, may endanger or risk your health and safety, or that ot other climbers or SkyPoint staff
- Participants must have moderate fitness and strength levels and be able to comfortably walk approximately 280 stairs in addition to climbing some mid-length step ladders
- Expectant mothers less than 20 weeks pregnant must consult a medical practitioner before participating
- Not available for those 20 weeks pregnant or over
- Participants will be provided with and are required to wear a climb suit over their clothing
- Jewellery such as rings, necklaces, piercing jewellery and watches cannot be worn during the climb
- Participants with prescription glasses and sunglasses will be provided with an attachment to secure them
- Please read SkyPoint Climb's Health and Safety information before the date of your experience
- Participants must check in 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time, regardless of weather conditions
- In the event of wet weather, participants will be provided with weather-resistant jackets and pants
- SkyPoint Climb will decide in its absolute discretion whether a climb will proceed or not
- Participants must sign a Climber Declaration and undertake a breathalyser test
- Any recorded blood alcohol readings of 0.05% or higher will result in immediate experience forfeiture
- Minimum age of 12 years old; minimum height of 130cm
- Maximum weight of 136 kilograms fully clothed
- Children aged 12 to 15 years old must be accompanied by a responsible, full-paying adult
- Maximum of two children per responsible adult
- Those over 75 years old must supply a completed Medical Clearance Certificate to participate
