Surf Lesson 2 hours - Superb
We got Jayden as our surf teacher, brilliant guy and really easy going. Not too pushy and happy for you to go at your own pace. We enjoyed the experience. Great day out. The equipment was all spot on and the guys at the store are welcoming.

Went with my 3 young adult kids and all 4 of us had a blast and would do again!! Definitely harder than we thought would be but instructors were very nice.

What you can expect
Out on the water, the exhilaration of riding the waves is unbeatable. If you want to learn to surf, there are few better locations than Torquay - Australia’s surf capital. So get on a board and get out there with a 1.5 hour private surf lesson that will have you on the road to surfing like a pro.
The surf school will provide everything you need, from a soft beginner surfboard to a full length wetsuit or rash shirt. All you need to do is show up ready to get in the water. Torquay is renowned for its pristine beaches and ideal surfing conditions, so it’s a great spot to learn.
For two hours, your highly qualified and experienced instructor will give you all the one-on-one guidance and insight you need to be standing on your surfboard in no time. You’ll begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before hopping into the shallow water to try catching some waves.
Then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your board before getting back into the water to give it a go. You’re in good hands, and there’s no time like the present to start making your surf dreams a reality!

Go Ride A Wave
The process of booking in and purchasing via Adrenaline was all very easy. The experience itself was enjoyable, challenging and I left feeling accomplished. The team at Go Ride A Wave were all lovely. They provided a wet suit, board and an informative lesson before we dived in and attempted to catch some waves. In our group, we had people of all ages and from other countries. The instructors even provided feedback on our technique while out in the water. It was a fun couple of hours. I'd highly recommend the experience if you'd like to learn how to surf.
