If you’re looking to get out on the water on the Great Ocean Road, a stand up paddle board lesson is the perfect way to do it. Enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Anglesea River and learn to handle yourself on the board. You’ll be paddling like a pro in no time!
Your 90-minute SUP lesson will be led by an experienced instructor, who will teach you all the basics of balancing, paddling, and turning on the board. With a small group size, there will be plenty of opportunity for attention from the instructor in perfecting your stance and paddle technique. Once you have the skills down, you’ll venture out into the deeper waters of the Anglesea River and explore the lush landscape. Look out for waterbirds and marine animals, and land animals like echidnas, kangaroos and wallabies in the surrounding bushland.
Play a few games along the way and enjoy gliding around the water like a seasoned stand up paddle boarder. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the Great Ocean Road and learn some new skills.
